A native of Springdale Arkansas, Griesenauer continued his baseball career at North Arkansas College under Coach Phil Wilson where he set a school record for saves. After Northark Griesenauer continued his career at the University of Dallas where he was invited to an invite only workout with the Texas Rangers. After his collegiate career Griesenauer came back to his alma mater at Northark where he spent 5 years as the Associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for Phil Wilson. In his five years he helped see the Pioneers to being ranked #1 in the nation for 8 weeks in a row for consecutive years. Coach Griesenauer is widely known for recruiting the most decorated player in NJCAA who led the nation in every offensive category and finished as the Rawling's National Player of the Year award. In 2013 Griesenauer accepted the position as outfield coach for the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
Currently Coach Griesenauer is serving as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas Baptist College as well as an associate scout for the New York Yankees. Coach Griesenauer has had several guys sign professional contracts as well as Major Division I scholarships.
In his spare time Sean enjoys playing golf and spending time with his son Maddux who is 6.
